McPeek, a United States based thoroughbred racehorse management, selection and training company, has employed Paladin Capital Partners, based in California, to contribute towards the developing and launching of a new mobile application called Horse Races Now. The application was conceptualized by Kenny and Sue McPeek and is intended for fans of horse racing, horse breeders and trainers as well as the owners of the horses.

The app will be similar to football betting apps offered by bookmakers such as William Hill and Bet365, however it will be intended solely for horse racing events and betting (as opposed to offering a range of other sports and fixed-odds markets).

Horse Races Now Application to Return Part of Revenue to Race Tracks

The McPeek Company runs a racing stable in Kentucky called the Magdalena Farm. The farm has bred over 1,200 prize winning horses and has accumulated more than $50 million in winning purses. The new mobile application, Horse Races Now will be able to return a part of the revenue generated, to the horsemen and race tracks.

Kenny McPeek stated that the company has been working with Hardave Gill (Post Time Technologies Inc) and the Jockey Club in order to build an application that both prospective and current customers can utilize while accessing regularly updated information regarding their preferred horses, horse trainers, race tracks and jockeys.

The application will also include live videos. He also said that now that the required technology was in place, the company is keen to hasten the progress of the application and introduce it to the market as soon as possible. This is why they have tied up with Paladin.

Collaborating with Paladin

Mr. McPeek went on to say that at Paladin, Gary Sproule and Chuck Champion are both experts on racing and are well known for their success in the field of software development. Their previous work has been both rich in content and revenue generating. Kenny also said that McPeek Racing believes that Champion and Sproule’s involvement will ensure that the application is effective. It will also give McPeek an edge in the industry.
